So I'm in this situation between the two schools I go to, my high school and a career school. My high school decided to enforce a strict dress code on the entire school, but my career school requires a uniform that is completely different from the high schools. And by the way, I pay fees to go to the career school.

So I called the high school, telling them I have to wear my career school's uniform at all times. They said I'm not allowed to wear my career uniform at their school, and that I have to strip down to my underwear on the bus ride to the career school. That is illegal in my state, so I can't do that.

Edit: I do NOT have time to change somewhere else, between classes, or any time between schools.

Edit Again: It is not a changing problem, its a problem of schools and their uniforms, do i only wear one uniform? do I change schools?

Why on earth would you wear the same thing all the time? I would never do that, even if a school made it mandatory.

^ Seriously? This isn't a joke at all. This is my stuff, its either drop out of the school that I grew up in or go farther in debt because I can't afford new clothes. This is life, my life, and I just asked for suggestions.

Well, as my daddy told me, necessaries first. Cut the internet, tv, phone, alla that till you got enough money to keep yo poop together.

My career class is an Internet Programming class, I can't cut that out, and if I did cut the tv, my other stuff would go away because we bundled it for cheap

Have someone cut everything in half and sew on velcro sounds like a good idea. Show up to class, rip it off, and viola! In dress code ;)

Isnt public school free? in Texas its free....anyways, you could always get a slightly bigger bag and show up 5 min. early change then go to class.

^ Public school is FAR from free. For me there was no yearly bill to pay, but we (PA) get taxed an insane amount of money for it just by living in the district.

Jms, I would talk to your school counselor(s) about this issue. I think it would help you better then looking here, that is, seeing how most of the people who posted in this thread seem to be jerks about it.
