im making a coaster in shuttle mode and when i make a lift behind the station and set each to reverse cable lift when it starts the coaster goes forward not back but its set to do a reverse cable lift

Turn Off the Transport Option.
Sometimes you gotta sacrifice a little bit of yourself to get the job done.

You have to turn off the transporter option.
