I prefer NL for realism, RCT3 for fun. Don't think you can really compare the 2 to be honest...

I was hooked on RCT 1,2 and 3, i have all of the expansion packs. But when i bought No Limits last year i never looked back at RCT. No Limits is my new fav, No Limits 2 will take over as my fav as soon as it comes out.

I think Rct3 is better just because I like the tycoon games.

No limits by far. Its not a game but actually design realistic rides. Professional designers have their own NL. Wish we could use their version

I prefer Nolimits, sure its harder to design tracks than RCT3, but the graphics are awesome! Its just like being on the coasters.

There is no doubt about it, No Limits clearly is the better coaster editor. But RCT3 is the more fun game easily as you can build real life rollercoasters with their more limited editor and experience a theme park more viewing peeps riding your rollercoaster and walking around the theme park.

I have a question, new to CC and also new user of No Limits ... can you place a scaled layout of the coaster on the ground to help layout the track?

I would say nolimits by a long shot. At first when I got it, it took a long time to get used to, but once I got a hang of it it's been amazing. Don't get me wrong rct3 is great in it's own world but it doesn't compare to NL IMO.

One is a game, one is a simulator. I enjoy both as they both are very different.

I prefer No Limits because it seems to have much more realistic graphics--I don't really care for those cartoon like characters in RCT3.

No limits is so realistic, sometimes i wonder if the professionals use it.

NoLimits for sure... it has better graphics, but it tends to lag sometimes

^OMG it's gonna kill us...ahhhhhh :D
and I like NL more beause it's more realistic and looks good :D the only bad thing in NL is that you can't build 2 or 3 or more rides in one pack :(

Maurer-Sohne uses a really extreme modified version.

But I do know that most companies use NoLimits as a cheaper way to show a demo of their ride(s).

Or a two-year-old's recreation, as we have seen with Kennywood

RCT3 vs No Limits? You really can't compare the two, as stated previously in the thread. One is a simulator and one is a game.

No Limits...It's shear realism you cannot pass up. If they brought the two games together that would be the best. I would like to see virtual people riding my no limits coasters!

RCT2 for the nostalgia and having the ability to prove that graphics aren't everything. Even though No Limits looks a lot better and has much more customation, RCT2 has so many possibilities, and is much more solid than RCT3. RCT2 4EVER.

All RCCAs should be RMC'd. And that event shall be henceforth known as the Rollercaust.

Kinda shows their noobyness, posting on a page in which you can't seriously compare the subjects.

So I play NL most of the time and when I'm bored of it I play RCT2 because it's by far the best RCT game other than maybe RCT1LL. RCT3 is good but is run on a poor engine so if you build a large park say goodbye to your frame-rate. NL is graphically superior and more rewarding if you ask me.
