How do I become Gothic?

I'm a happy christian that wants to know how do I become Gothic? By wearing all black or listening to Evanescence?

remember you can be 'goth' and not dress like a tool at the same time. Also real goths don't shop at Hot Topic and hang out behind the dumpster at the mall.

4. Major in something useless like art/journalism/english/sociology

Personally, I'm Gothic, and do not spend my money only for dark stuffs, the computer, it is not enlightened for my eyes, etc ...

That first pic is so degrading. Im starting to think goth is a fetish.

It's easy really, The dress all black thing doesn't even matter. Just cut yourself away from the rest world as if life deserves you something. Don't talk, care or love anyone, don't be impressed, motivated, or practically have a life at all. Most importantly disable your internet connection cause that does imply that you have an interest in something.

I thought it was not to conform with anyone. (and using the internet would be conforming with society and being plugged in.)
