Greetings! It's been a long time since I've posted any track work on this site. I'm currently working on recreating my home park's newest coaster, Gold Striker at California's Great America! Gold Striker is currently my #1 woodie as this this ride packs quite a punch. 250 laps later, I feel like I can make a good recreation and deliver the feelings and forces this ride offers!

Side profile view of "Goldy" as my friends and I call it. Yes, this ride features a unique tunnel on the first drop. While it's there to keep the neighbors happy, it creates an interesting first drop!

Curves...'nuff said!

Birds-eye view of the coaster! I need to add a .3DS Observation Tower to it to make it feel "complete"

The "Midway" turn, provides a really strong pop of ejectorairtime if you're sitting towards the front!

One of Gold Striker's "Kinky" spots, the Double Up towards the end. In real life, my friends and I have slammed into each other in this section. It's not painful, it's just...whippy!

And finally, what we call the "Prudential Turn." It earned this strange name due to the proximity to the Prudential-owned offices near by...otherwise known the whiny neighbors that put this project to a screeching halt.
Bonus pic: My previous version of Gold Striker (can see multiple renditions of my rec on my Youtube channel) has actually found its way to some of the souvenir T-shirts at CGA! I was honestly quite shocked to have seen that happen!

I know not many of you have been out to the west coast to try this coaster out, so I know that many of you won't quite be able to say too much about it yet. I seriously cannot wait to see how this will look in NL2...which I may import it an finish the final tweaks there before I put it up for upload. But for now, you're about to experience the rush of striking gold!
