So, CNM Fall term has officially begun, I am enrolled in 3 courses totalling 9 credit hours:

$40.00: Cost for registration
$27.00: Technology usage fees ($9.00 per class)
$123.00: Tuition

Total cost of registration: $190.00

All of those courses have their own required texts:

$122.50: Nutrition for Healthy Living
$126.76: Acp Computer Concepts Illustrated
$61.25: Intro to College Algebra

Total book costs: $310.50

And now we have general school supplies: Pencils, paper, binders, etc.

Supplies total: 60.26

Total cost? $560.76 for 14 weeks College courses.

EDIT: Mighty nice walk down easy street for my undergrad, it seems. I'm starting to dread Graduate school.

Cheap! I am at over $2,500 so far. Still need to get books and parking and other stuff. That is still cheap compared to private or other sttate schools.

Well, for an up-and-coming 19-year-old student like myself, only a year out of high school, 560 bucks is quite a sum. It amounts to about half of what is usually available to me in my checking account. Easily payable, yes, but for a brand-new adult, still rather expensive.

Least I'm a wise spender.

I'd say!

I am aiming to get top scholarships, so I hope they will help, and SEVERELY chop the costs of college for me in the future!

My college is going to be $54 000 this year. When I entered, it was $44 000, and when I left it was $51 000. Thankfully, the Navy paid for everything, and I got a commission out of it.

yeah.. where the f**k are you going to school dude? 500 barely covers my books. i'm at cheap school that is 112 per credit hour, at state school it was 360 per credit hour, and at private colleges its typically 1500 per credit hour.

i'm at 13 credits + books so i'm looking at $1800 in school related stuff, minus gas to get there, and the stupid poop i'll probably buy during my 10 hour stint i have during wednesdays.

so probably $2800 or so for school this semester. When I was going to state school it was like $8000. Private gets into the 40K and up to 75K from friend's i have.

School is in the original post.

So yeah, this is nice, they apparantly don't bill tuition for the first 6 credits you sign up for... I am a very fortunate person, it seems.

Now you guys make me dread my inevitable transfer. [B)]

$500 is the price of one of my books this semester. It comes with a shiny dvd and computer disk. Too bad we don't need them, it's a freaking seminar class!
