Does anyone know if what they mean about "realism" they mean coasters being able to actually go inside mountains ranges or forms without it looking all weird.?
I think people should stop posting here unless there's some actual news to be discussed. I keep opening the topic only to find things like 3ds mountains being discussed.
^^Totally uncalled for. To tell you truth I ,also, think we really should restrain from posting here until some news appears. Alot of these questions have already been answered or have no real purpose, because they're all mostly requests. And guess what most people lack the skill to make 3D terrain so the terrain they make in the editor is all they have. And finally there are several coasters that go through the terrain, weither it be artificial or not, it still counts has going through terrain.

You can't stop people from posting in a thread on a board. That's why forums are so great, and why they suck so much.
The topic does not say "The one and only NoLimits 2 News topic", it is a general thread for discussion of NoLimits 2. Anybody can post whatever the f**k they want here.
Sorry guys, I'm easily angered and I'm having a bad day.
I know right. Nobody said they where going to completely stop people from posting. It was a good suggestion that might help people not get fustrated when they keep seeing the same stuff over and over again. I would suggest you relax and think about what you would post, before you post so you can avoid, in the future-as I see why you said what you said-, looking like an ass. Which im sure you are not. And guess what, i have bad days all the time, its not healthy to take things out on other people and then use your day or mood as an excuse. Anyways, back on topic, unfortunately i dont think there is any news, and would love to check, but i have to figure out how to let my firewall, let me veiw the website.

Ya, but you can make them look a little dull, so they don't look so fake, but I find that hard to do, because you have to get it right so it doesn't look to dull and dark.

Actually, I'm not sure if perspective-correction is the right term for it. What's the technique used here to make the lighting behave like it would for a higher poly model?

I've noticed this being used in a lot of modern games, and it really makes a huge difference for low-poly curved surfaces.
