So a while ago my father was labeled as a racist because he commented in an inner city classroom that someone's paper "had more holes in it than Tupac". He was a high school teacher at the time, he retired and went on pension, that's why I said was.

This promptly cause a ruckus. So out of personal curiosity, how many of you people respect this idiot?

my opinion is, if people like Tupac die more often, the world will be all the better for it.

I like Tupac, and I don't see how your father could be deemed a racist. So he made a connection to something inner city kids could connect to, whats the problem in that?

Its not really about colour is it. Its about gangtards as a few people have already said. Its just as soon as a black icon such as him gets criticised by a white man, its racism to alot of people, even if the comment isnt to do with his colour at all.

And no i definately do not respect him. His music is ok, but i dont really get the whole gang respect thing. M.I.A in my opinion is the only really good rap artist out there. Maybe i have that view cause i work in an indian restaurant though where she is constantly on loop. [lol]

Gangs aren't always about respect or to gain respect. Some people join gangs for protection from other gangs or sometimes the mafia. Other people join gangs for a little extra money through drug trades, and especially since they already have a poor lifestyle.

I'm not a huge New School rap fan. Old school hip-hop is the stuff! Also, R&B is the best music. I love ballads and soulful music. I love rock music too. This new stuff they call rap nowadays is terrible. Actually if you look at the top charts most of the music that sells is rap or R&B. It's not going anywhere anytime soon.
