Basically, I tried moving my NL folder to my desktop so that it was easier to access. I don't know what happened, but it seems the cartextures folder just disappeared and the data folder is now empty! [shocked]

I don't know what to do! I've searched the computer but nothing has come up. The files seem to have literally vanished!

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The files did vanish. Their point of reference is no longe where they used to be so when your computer goes looking for the files in the rpogram files folder, it's not there, it's as if you deleted the folder. Put the folder back in there!

The problem's not that it's in the wrong directory, it's that files from my folders have just vanished. Moving the folder back to the previous location does nothing since the files aren't anywhere on the drive. What base files should actually be in the data and car textures folders anyway? Maybe they got placed around my drive separately or something? [dunno]

Just reinstall NoLimits vampire it will atleast replace all the standard files and with any luck you can work out where the missing files are. Your desktop isn't the place to be running noLimits from it is best left where it installs.

If you want it to be easier to access just right click on your NL folder and choose send to and then select desktop (create shortcut).

this is why everyone should keep their files on external drives, or atleast have RAID support.

Man, you don't put the actual file on your desktop, just put a shortcut there! [lol]

Dont put thinks on the desktop, it uses RAM instead of harddisk space , thus lowering ur memory

Use Shortcuts , that's what they are there for
Just make a short cut to your NL folder
