yes sir it is... is that gonna be a problem? are you gonna be an asshole and say "you can't do this because b&m doesn't do this" ??? Do what you want Tyler. Get creative
lol his drop is mostly straight, and drops don't necessarily have to use airtime as their only source of excitement. Originality also may make a drop interesting, even if it's not necessarily as good as another style. If that were the case, we'd have no variety in rides, which would be more boring. Consider how well a ride like EGF or Xcelerator uses its drop curvature to make things exciting in a relatively new way.
With that said, I'm just noting what I did because I don't think the first drop is a good spot to criticise in relation to the rest of the ride, which I agree isn't great.
... am I a n00b? Only I think it looks pretty good. If it's supported right, it being so compact, the close to support action could make the second half of the coaster a lot more interesting.
The layout is mainly just hill-turn-hill-turn, but that's what you are going to get if you want to make a hyper coaster compact.
When i saw the picture of the lay-out, i thought "wowtch, what kind of B&M hyper coaster is that???", but then i saw the video. And i think its a really nice coaster whith all those smooth and crazy crossing turns. I really like it[:D]
Absolutely. Sure, it's not even close to cookie-cutter B&M. It looks very cool though, and with better pacing and a helluva lot better ending than most. Some of the banking transitions look like they could use a bit of work, where they start too far up a hill, etc, but for the most part, the building technique looks very good. I can't wait to see this with some supports. Take the time to really deck this thing out and I'll think you'll have one hell of a rollercoaster on your hands.
