contests

how can i do my own contest? can i just do one of my own in the off topic section?

GFA (mainly) and the rest of the staff are the only members allowed to host offical contests. Howevere you can submit ideas to GFA and he may host it for you, or you may host your contest off this site but put links in the off topic forum (but they generaly dont work very well)

i see...... so, is there a way to do a contest on this site but not have it be "official" like... have a contest but only use the track exchange as a way to exchange tracks? but not have anything else to do with the site? like.. have the site be a device for communication. i think i explained that the right way??
