Farewell to Cypress Gardens

Yeah, this was on the Florida news yesterday. Very sad, I remember going there when I was much younger, great atmosphere, great place.

I actually edited the wikipedia page, stating that it's closed now, but it's future is uncertain, its waiting for loans, or other buyer's.

I hope it's either one.

It's really ashame that the park is closed now. I recently found out about this park and I was really bummed that it was closed. I was also amazed that I didn't found out earlier about this park. Especially when I went to Florida in 2006, Since you'd have to drive past Cypress Gardens to get to Tampa.

I wonder what will happen to the rides. I know the Swamp Thing will be relocated to a small dutch park. But seeing those Wooden Coasters go would be a waste.
