I have recently started a new project called Velocity. I have finished trackwork, and the amazingly awesome color scheme [:D](which really brings out the beautiful artwork of the shaping of the rails), and started supporting. Here are some Pics of what i have done so far-

For some reason i like the shaping on this part, and it feels great to ride over too.

Yea ... They seem to have moved away from the multiple large air hills and are concentrating on lower hills and higher paced turns. Must be to cut costs.

Either way, looking nice :)

^-1.3 is generally fine. There are plenty of intamin coasters that go that high, and some that go higher.
Just keep scrolling...

iSpeed and El Toro hit -1.5.

Anything beyond that sustained is too much.

That airtime is great.

Im sure iSpeed does, but im not so sure about bizarro. It has one hill that hits -1.1 in the front or back i think, but thats it. El toro had crazy airtime though. It had atleast -1.6 on its hills. And atleast -1 on the first drop in the back.

I'm not sure why but those supports look 1 size over what I think Intamin would use (IMO)

EDIT: On the lower to ground parts.
Coaster Count: 582 // Top Five: 1. Helix 2. Nemesis 3. Big Bad Wolf 4. Boulder Dash 5. Balder

This project is lookin HOT [devilish].

The supporting structures are looking like they are comming along nicely and I also really like the colors to this coaster. I don't really know why this topic slipped past me? Lookin good.

Bizarro has force graphs that say otherwise or hint that -1.5 is fabricated information. If I were you Kyle, I'd disregard that info.

-1.3 sounds good, and I have seen Colossos and T Express listed at -1.5, and those have lapbars very similar to those on an Intamin mega. With this size ride, sustaining -1.3ish for as long as you want to on a normal shaped hill is fine. I might not do that with the first hill of a giga (which would most likely have a greater duration), because I don't know how long you can sustain those forces before reaching the duration limit, but something like El Toro sustains its strongest forces on say the 2nd camelback as long as possible with a normal shaped hill. It also has very steep slopes, meaning the forces are able to be held even longer. So yeah, I generally say you can have -1.3 to -1.5 for around as long as you want for this ride size and style, within reason.

Regardless, -1.5 is within limits, as you said yourself.

Well to tell the truth, i think it has excellent pacing, and some really fast pacing at the end part. The begginging has about the pacing of sros sfne i would say. So yeah it has good pacing. It is actually extremely fun to ride and i ride it very often. Im thinking about doing some nice 3ds station and entrance stuff.
