So YouTube is Screwed Up Even More Now

Just when we thought it couldn't get any worse, YouTube screws up even more. When I signed in, I got a message stating

Please start signing in with your Google password from now on. Pretty soon we will be phasing out support for signing in with your old YouTube password.

So you have to have a Google account when you sign up now, now this BS?

and theres ads before videos now, and like 5 during. so dumb.

It's not that bad, you just link your accout to your google acount. You can make your google account with the same username and password, too. It's not like you lose your videos or anything.

I think this only happens when you have them linked. I don't and I'm not getting the message.

I don't get it with my other account. I think the rule only applies to the accounts where you were required to have a Google account to sign up for Youtube.

Sell the damn site to someone else.
