First tattoo was the quote on my right arm. Got it done on June 14, 2008. Second tattoo was the stars on my left arm. Got it done August 29, 2008.

Third tattoo I got done on February 28, 2009. Got the 3-D nautical star on my left shoulder done on April 20, 2009.

I'm looking to get maybe 1 more tattoo if any on my right forearm by my elbow (the outside facing part of the arm).

I don't personally have any, but here is what I know about tattoos:

1. Only get it if you've wanted it for two years
2. Don't blend/fade colors, almost all the time they become blotchy as your skin changes with age. By with age I mean in 2 years
3. If you want a job they shouldn't be visible unless it's military related as bosses tend to frown upon them in general
4. Do not get something because it's in style
5. Do not get something in a foreign language unless you yourself can read it
6. It's generally recommended that you don't get something from a culture/heritage that isn't yours. An example would be a white person with what they think is "hope" written on their back in Chinese.
7. Finding bad tattoos is a past time of some people, don't become part of this past time.

Remember tattoos are forever!

I've had a tattoo in mind for the last 2 1/2 years, but I'm not sharing the idea with anyone. I don't have any right now, but next year when I turn 18 I am getting what I want.

Tattoo's are not forever, they are just a pain in the [:O] to remove..

And your skin never looks the same, and it's horribly expensive.

Most of the meaning behind them is in that link. What's odd is I normally plan my tattoo out way ahead of time before even making the appointment, and then change it last minute and it ends up turning out really nice [:D]

I'm getting my last name across my shoulderblades in a few years. It's unique so it won't just be another one in the crowd.

My uncles friend is drawing it up for us.

Why would it matter, if you look closely you'll see a skeleton riding it. So the people are dead anyway. [lol]

Yea, my parents house is about 8 miles from the coast. Went surfing quite a bit in my younger years and I do good ammount of scuba diving every summer around Laguna, San Diego, and Catalina. The ocean has just always been something I find not only enjoyable recreationally, but also fascinating.
