Take a look at this amazing prototype coaster opening in beginning of May 2003. Here's the first picture of it in the net (I think):http://rctfi.tycoonplanet.com/Half%20Pipe%202.jpg

The ride's going to have two 30 m tall towers and spinning trains accelerated up with LIMs.

Half Pipe adds the total number of big steel coasters in S?????????rk?????????nniemi to 4.

that thing is ugly but if you think about that you can spin freely and it goes up and down several times it can be lots of fun

30 meters is slightly under 100 feet.

They are still going to make it look better somehow and paint the floor red. I don't know anything else.. But I will sure tell how it was next year.

Yes, S?????????rk?????????nniemi is pretty close to me, even though it's not my home park.

---
EDIT: Hmm.. But what if the floor would be painted to resemble a snowboard, how ugly would it then be? (on park's site it says that the ride gives you a feeling like snowboarding on a Half Pipe or something similar)

Well i think the idea of a giant snowboard in a halfpipe is real cool and original but love up the track itself. Becaise they have room for 3 of those coaches instead of two and with this enormous board you cant see the track soaring under you like on normal coasters. I think they will just have to remove that jucky board or paint it with some very cool snowboard like image....

needs another 100ft of vert on each tower, then it would be fun. And i bet those boards serve a purpose, how would the riders get off for 1 and may probally help with the LIM launch system

it already has over 4g:s !!! It would need much more track for going to the vertical sections too.

You don't need to build anything that big in Finland, 30m is the local Top Thrill Dragster already.

I think the boards are for themeing purposes mostly. You could have different loading systems.

Those floors make it look ugly. Like flying doormats.

Oh my gosh.. Not these pictures again. Those are from last year's November and early December and even a picture not taken at night appeared to the Finnish site right after that night-one. The track has been done for ages (there was nothing to build really), on that picture they made the station I think.

Spread these ones instead:

They'll most likely start testing really soon, as the trains are on the track.

The floors will be painted, if they alredy haven't done that.
