Can only download 5 times???

So i went to download some of the old tracks a while back. Stuff like black halo, clifford, some of the really cool designs you know? A message popped up that i could only download a ride 5 times. A little angered, i then decided to go back and download some of my older rides. like, from the beginner days. The same message popped up! some those tracks are approaching four years old, and they bring back great memories when you ride them again. I don't understand why the five download limit is there. If someone could explain it would be great, and if someone would think about getting rid of that it would also be great, because i really miss riding some of the older stuff.

I assume to protect bandwidth?

Yup, it's mainly there to get rid of that 5 post rule and to protect bandwidth of growing out of it's proportions.

You can increase the number of downloads a day by becoming a premium member. [:)] I'm not sure but I think that limit is currently 20-25 downloads a day.

And this limit is already there for about 1,5-2 months right now. And you are the first person to complain about it. People usually don't download over 5 tracks a day anymore. So it's a nice way to keep the anonymous downloaders under control.

ya that makes sense, but i'm not talking about over the course of a day. i can't download a track more than five time, period....
