This is by far my best work to date, but I cannot seem to get supports right. EVER. My past tracks have been met with...mixed...reviews, but I think this one will really stand out. I tried to make it as unconventional as possible, and it has one particular element I don't think I've ever seen before.

If ANYONE is interested in aiding with support work, please let me know. I will of course give credit where credit is due when it comes time to upload.

And for those of you who don't understand the significance of the name "42"...

SHAME ON YOU
So say we all.

Hmm... 42. If the layout does not have some cosmic significance, I will be severely dissapointed.

It was not meant to look like anything

other than a roller coaster of course

It's a B&M style sit-down train by the way

the "cosmic significance" should come from what a ride has to offer in terms of originality and excitement, not from being shaped like Saturn or something

I suggest you change the name if you aren't going to do anything of cosmic significance.

Screenshots might be nice. So that people that want to volunteer to support, know what their up to. Since a vague description doesn't really help.

I don't know many coaster names that are just a number, except for the 69 that me and your mom rode...

That's so mature of you.

But fine I'll put up some screenshots.

no the G's are fine in the roll

it's very deceptive, and wasn't easy to get right

it rolls clockwise while turning left

and the loop will probably be cut out of the final product...

It's fine in terms of G's but it just feels out of place right at the end...

I'm assuming you are referring to the roll, since it is the permanent element (rather than the loop, which is now definitely going away)
Vert: minimum of -1.0 (there is no point putting a max, because it is less than +1)
Lat: maximums of +1.1 and -0.8

You could say maximum negative G's are -1. That makes sense.

The problems aren't the G's. The roll is just shaped terribly.

-1 g's on a b&m though? so is it technically an "airtime" roll? if so, -1 is still pretty strong for a b&m.

I'm sure it's just like that because of the long flat inverted section.

it's not a long flat inverted section

it's an overbanked turn out of the roll

you can't tell from the picture but the part that looks straight is turning left

and these pictures are out of date now

I'll have newer ones soon

Okay here is a newer picture. It shows the turn during the roll better, to satisfy those nonbelievers :P

And here's another one. This is a new change to the ride. Sort of a new twist on a diving loop. It's proving a bit tricky but I think it will turn out okay.

Ehh... That roll still looks rough. As long as it rides okay, it'll be fine.

How is that a twist on the diving loop... It looks pretty diving-loopish to me...?

The nature of the roll looks fine to me, but it needs to be heartlined.

EDIT: I think I will do the support work for it.

it's more like an immelman in reverse...

it's not shaped like an L when viewed from above

it's more like a... idk... well, it's not perpendicular at all

it's between the shape of an immelman and a diving loop

I didn't mean it was some GRAND REVOLUTIONARY NEW FORM OF DIVING LOOP, I just meant it was sort of one but a bit different

and thanks Jonny I'll send it to you when I'm done shaping/smoothing

what's your email? PM me if you don't want everyone to know
