Why do they insist that it is still Texas Giant?

They started tearing down the sections they aren't reusing today. They say they're only planning to change about 15% of the track configuration.
i thought it was getting torn down?

Perhaps I should make my own Texas Giant tribute video. I think I'll use the song "100 years".
They started demo today. They pulled down a 12 x 8 foot section using a chainsaw and a bull dozer for the media, gave a speech. Then promptly told everyone to GTFO giving the same misleading information from closing night.
Yay.
