WWS:

Why are you having two similar sites? Wouldn't it be more clever to move WWS.com's stuff to the other place if you want to use it?

I remember you saying earlier, that if you'd like to compete with CoasterSims.com and Coastergames, you would use the other domain. Now the moment has come.

My initial thought was to move everything over to CoasterCrazy and continue the exchange there but after trying so I noticed that the dbs files could not be worked out to match the info from this site to coastercrazy even though they are on the same server. So I can't pick up everything from here and move it over there since I can't take the name of the registered users from here to there. It's two different databases and CoasterCrazy.com forums are more effective in speed as well so I have to start from scratch with CC. I am almost done with the opening of it, just need to edit some of the asp that is not working. Don't know why but it's not working. I can transfer the exchange info but what use would it be if the user is not registered there, it'd be like wasted space you know? So it's not that I don't want to have that up with the info from here it's just that I can't, impossible. PLus trying to get 400+ members to registere over there from here is quite a task and many wont move. But thanks for the suggestions but it's just not possible.

Thanks for answering.. It was something that has been on my mind for some time now. I'll wish best luck for your other project.

We could start moving the discussion over there too to get it going..

OK I just thought of something, I could scrap the forums that are at www.coasterrazy.com/forums and install these. Only difference would be the speed and minor cosmetic looks and stuff. If many of you would like these forums, if you feel they function fine for you I could move the info from these forums over to that site and that way you don't have to register again, just you know log in as usual. Let me know what you guys think.

No, everything would be over there. If these forums are moved, that means you wont have to register again, know what I mean?
Or I could start it from scratch which I think would be a better idea to give the people a chance to rate all tracks. All old tracks here have not been rated or touched. So I think it would be nice to start from scratch there.

I like both site layouts better. Actually some time ago i liked cc.com better but now we have a new look at wws.com I think both sites look good and i don't really care if the site is on this URL or the other.

i think coastercrazy has more of a name appeal an relly tells you its about coasters unlike coastercrazy.com. If you were a kid searching the net u cou;d think its porn. But then again that could work in your advantage fro adults ; )

Both have the same exact layout except for colors.

CoasterCrazy.com is on major hold for the moment. uhmmm So don't expect anything for it now. We're cooking up a treat for you guy for wws.com. Somethign that you will like a lot. I hope LOL Well what else to say, Forgive me for the rating accident, it got broken and rather than going through binch of code I decided to get it rewritten from scratch to say. We "might" have to go to a new look if we do go onto this new change coming to wws.com. I am uncertain about the current track exchange if it'll transfer over since we're planning on intergreating everything to have it work better for you. Few of you (3-4 of you) have seen what we are working on and the response has been good. Well I'll let you know what happens this is complicated so pardon the current inconveniences. Feel free to rate tracks, you'll get an error when hitting submitt but rating will be record and displayed but not averaged. Thanks again for the patience, we're a small site and starting to grow. Keep up the track posting and the excellent tracks!
