^ Correct. However, I advise members to build custom stations out of supports. Theaming will not be judged and if you have no station, thats kind of an issue. [:p]

By that I mean that all 3Ds will be turned off for judging.

Also, after your upload, give me a bit of time to rate it. If you dont see a rating on your track, then wait until the contest ends for it. I will do ratings when the tracks are posted.

Scoring Sheet:

Build: 10

Track, supports, pace, smoothness, ect. are in this area.

Creativity: 15

Layout, realism, and orignality.

Fun Factor: 5

How fun was the ride.

Total possiable score is 30. That is devided by 3 to get your rating.Highest rate wins.

I think I'm going to have to drop out. I can't spend the time I need on this, and my schedule looks busy for the next few weeks.
Just keep scrolling...

^ No. Thats something I dont like about contests. There is no "sign-up sheet" for my contest as I dont like them. If you want to build, yes, if not, thats fine to.

Yeah, I agree with you on that. I'll try and get something built for the deadline then. This is a bloody tough contest though, that's for sure!

EDIT: This is stupidly difficult! I've been trying to make a rough layout and I need two lifts to even attempt to get it to 150 feet!

2 things: It DOESN'T have to be 100/200+ ft. Mine is 88ish feet.
And secondly, if you do want that height, make a 90 degree lift. There were no restrictions on that listed ;)

You don't need a 90????????? lift to clear 200ft. I can make a lift on 45????????? like on various B&M Hypers and I still cleared the 200ft mark.
I ditched that version tho, it's too high and you'll have too much speed to do something decent with it.
I'm now somewhere at 140ft tall and the layout starts getting shape [:)]

Yeah, I have a prelift section that just wraps around so the lift begins from one end and to the other. It's a realistic angle and is tall too. Over 180.

I made it about 180 ft high and after 800 metres of track from the top of the lift I put a MCB in slowing the ride till 10 mph at a height of 90 ft so there is enough speed left to make a decent ending

Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

^ no, cool5 it's not a helix of death. i am going to raise the template so it is not colliding with the coaster. that support will not be there.

The spine is considered part of the track so, that would not be allowed. However, it is a minor infraction which will hurt your rating, but you will not be DQed for it.

Can we have launches in addition to the lift? Like, is it possible to have a lift leading into a launch like the Hulk?

i'm pretty sure that would count as the lift exceeding 10 mph, not sure though

If that's the case, what about having both a lift and a launch at different points in the ride?

Anything that moves the train uphill, or straight (save for the ride momentum), is counted as a lift. Thus they cant exceed 10 MPH.

Two rides received, two rides rated. :D

Ignore number rates on rides. Those scores reflect me decisions. Actual ranking will be posted after the contest ends.

I'll give it a shot, why not? 3 weeks left.

Tetsu, " NO supports or track below 30 feet in the Purple box. ".

Does that mean supports must exceed 30 feet in the purple box? Can we place footers on the ground in that section as long as the supports and track are above 30ft?
