Hello, I'm new to this site and not sure if this is the right place to be posting a question like this, and I'm sorry if it's not.

I just recently switched to a Mac and now NL is a bit different... My main question is how (if you can at all) can you ride the coaster in the 3D mode of the editor. I don't mean the test run, I mean where you can go forward and back on your own using the mouse. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I've also got a question related to NoLimits on Mac. I just got the demo (mainly to check out FPS until Parallels arrives so I can just reinstall the full version I previously had for Windows), but in the sim, the G-force readouts are empty: the top looks like this

FPS: 100 Speed: 87 km/h Vert g: g Lat g: g Acc g: g

Does anyone else have this problem, or did I get a buggy copy of the software?

I suppose, but it seems odd that Ole would not want to advertise that capability of the simulator.

That has never happened to me... Perhaps you did get a buggy piece of software.

BTW, if you are switching to parallels, be warned that you will not be able to run NL at the same speed... it might take a 10 or 20 FPS hit (that is, unless you have a super-awesome video card).

I realize the hit that it will take, but it's already at 100, so I'm not too worried. If it gets too bad, I may also buy the mac version for the Graphics-heavy rides. And thanks for the help, I'll try redownloading it...

^My Mac OS crashed so I now downloaded the Demo and I got the same thing. So, I wouldn't worry about it.

Maybe the best thing to make sure is e-mail the NL-team. If there are any problems with the demo software, then at least the NL-team knows. [:)]
