I Want to be clear about this. We have members which their mental capabilities are questionable. For that reason, whenever they make posts in which they state or seek encouragement or opinion about doing dangerous or idiotic stuff, don't encourage them. If you are found encouraging them, you will be warned once, if you do it twice, it will be a permanent ban, no appeal. If it is found that this was gross encouragment, your account will be banned without warning.

If someone asks should they drink gasoline and you say yes, that's gross encouragement.

As smart and holy as some people claim to be, i thought they would be more mature than this, but i guess everyone has their bounds.

Are we punishing the members with questionable mental capabilities who state or seek encouragement or opinion about doing dangerous or idiotic stuff as well? I understand punishing the encouragement, but I think the encouragement could be quickly quelled by also punishing the member who was initially an idiot.

^I agree. Has cool5, with all his ridiculous and one being disturbing posts, been warned in any sort of way? It seems sort of odd to go after the people who didn't do anything wrong. Cool5 is the one being an idiot. If he wants to be one, let him. Why should any one of us be responsible for his stupidity? If he listens to someone on the internet to put his life in danger, then he's got more problems than we thought.

In all fairness, the things he posts are unquestionably simply for attention and I have little doubt in my mind that he, under no circumstances, would ever go through with any of the stuff he talks about, whether encouraged or not. But I do agree, even though I have been a culprit of said encouragement, that it really shouldn't go on.

And I also agree with the post above mine, if cool5 was simply removed for having posted such ridiculous things in the first place, the encouragement would instantly stop.

Seriously? While I don't condone the murder of mentally unstable people, if anyone is actually stupid enough to try and drink gasoline or whatever from a post online, is it really right for us to be punished? If anything, we should be praised for stopping them from adding to the bloody gene pool!

I think it's more of a legal liability. If someone says "I am thinking about doing something stupid, what do you think?" and someone else replies "Yeah, whatever, go for it . . ." and then the first someone actually goes and does something stupid and becomes seriously injured they could turn around and get a lawyer. Assuming the lawyer they find isn't as stupid as they are, they're going to print out the posts and then try to sue the crap out of the person who told them to "whatever, go for it . . ."

What it comes down to is this: Encouragement is a liability issue. Watch your own ass, and if you can't handle that you?????????ll be warned.

If it's a single instance of someone they have never met, nor know whatsoever, then I don't think a simple few words are going to hold up in court. If the person is mentally unstable, why the hell do they own a computer where people constantly bully and belittle people via internet services.

What about saying "That is extremely danferous and will most likely harm you if not kill you. But whatever, do it."
