I am making Batman The Ride: Six Flags Magic Mountain recreation. It will be my biggest project and I will pay close attention to the smallest of things.

I need some help. Does anyone know where i may find blueprints (or something similar) of the ride? I want to make this ride as close to the real thing as possible.

^ google patents would just have the mechanical elements such as the trains. i doubt they would have an entire layout and blueprint
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

hah, one of the bolliger and mabillard documents refers to the "destruction of energy"

Kinda makes me lose a little bit of faith in whoever wrote that patent :p

When you slam into a set of closed B & M brakes at 65MPH, that is the destruction of energy.

The destruction of energy? That sounds interesting, being as it's impossible [lol]

If something is destroyed, that doesn't mean it's completely gone. It is just rendered into an essentially useless form. If you destroy a building, the materials don't just disappear.

In Google Earth, La Ronde has the closest to a direct overhead view, and Six Flags New Orleans has a very clear image for B:tR.

Hit me up mikey. I need to know the exact height, how high the drop is, a force chart (<if you have one), loop heights, cork heights, 0-G roll height, the station buildings specs, about how long each load/unload time is. maybe more, i don't know that yet

EDIT: Does anyone have a good pic of the trains? from multiple angles (if possible)?

I have that one already. to be more specific, maybe a pic of under the trains, to the side, and up close?

THIS IS A LIST OF WHAT I NEED as of 12-17-09

1. lift speed

Image
1. The distance from the bottom of the first drop to the lift hill
2. Distance / width of the loop
3. how far the first drop reaches out

Image
1. start of lift height
2. height of the predrop
3. height of the bottom of the first drop

Lift speed is 3.5 in jog, and 7.1 in run. Height is 110 FT, the first loop is 96 feet, the second is 89 foot. Not sure what the zero G roll is.

The track goes out and comes back in at a weird angle to get the alignment setup for the roll and the second loop. Its at an angle so there is clearance for the helix and the roll out return.

That's what the SPEC is, it is not adjusted for terrain variations.

I'm not positive on this but I think the pre drop should be at a sloped angle of descent for momentum into the drop.

Just look at the google maps overhead view. The first drop definitely turns more than 180 degrees.
