Nice! My fiancee and I bought a Kawai DP over turkey break, and it's nice because it takes up very little space. We tried out some Rolands (and plenty of other manufacturers), but we felt the key action was best on the Kawai. What kind(s) of music do you play?
gazag: Sure...
Johnny: Success!
rcking: Yeah, I was looking at the Clavinovas too, but I much prefered the slightly heavier keyboard feel of the Roland. Also, I got it cheap, so that was a huge dealmaker also.
Kevin: I wanted to try Kawai too, but couldn't find any of their DPs anywhere, and I didn't want to buy sight unseen.
I play whatever I like, as long as it's on my level (I'd say about intermediate, at the very best). Currently I'm working on Mozart's Sonata Nr. 15 (1st movement), and previously I learned Comptine d'un autre ?????????t????????? by Yann Tiersen (huge fan, btw), and before that Hallelujah by Rufus Wainwright and Fairytale from Shrek. lol
jayman: Yeah, deffinately not cheap, probably gonna cost me of all the christmas presents. XD Worth it tho.
yah .. i have more roland in my collection than about anything, and i know what it's like to go broke over equipment.. and you get a warranty.. all i got is a soldering iron ..
^^^lol
^^Yeah, it belonged to my brother when he was little, and now I have it under the piano, so my feet don't freeze in these cold winter days. lol
^Well, I meant you could, but I can't.
Also, I've finaly managed to reposition it to it's final place, against a wall. The sound is surprisingly even better, lol
