Is this based off of a book or is this movie's plot stabbing in the darkness?

^^I don't think it's based off a book. Christopher Nolan wrote the script and directed this. This may be an original idea of his, though the trailer reminded me of Dark City. He did make Memento (based off of his brothers short story). So, yeah, it kind of is stabbing in the darkness. Looks interesting. I'll probably wait until the BluRay release.

This actually looks like a really good movie. Looks like I have a movie on my must see list already.

Glad they finally made a trailer that told you more than Nolan was making a second mind-game film. Nolan has an amazing skill with directing (two of his movies in my top-twenty list), and I'm sure this won't be any different. Really looking forward to seeing DiCaprio star in two of this years must-watch films.

Off topic: Scorsese's Shutter Island looks unbeatable...
