Was posting his IP address really needed? That was just unprofessional.

I'm sorry that you find it unprofessional MrPhilly, I understand and respect the need for privacy. I have removed the last two digits from his IP.

On 11-4-2005 I uploaded a picture I took of the Space Rocket at LeSourdsville, Ohio. You can delete that track if you want to. I must have had a brain cramp that day. At least it was a photo that I took myself. Anyway, I have a better version of that ride I posted at a later date. Thanks for the warning.

Just so that we get this straight, it is allowed for people to upload a logo or title for the ride they have created themselves, right?

Yes, You can edit the simulator screenshot with logos, effects etc so long as we can still see the ride.

I think the bigger problem here is that those uploading tracks are being expected to read threads that give warnings, reprimands, proclamations, etc. prior to posting a track, picture, or screenshot of their favorite whatever ... and that is just not a reality. For example: How many here read ALL the rules BEFORE signing up to this site? Yea, that's what I thought.

My additional nickel's worth of info.

"Please do not upload digital photos or stock photography. Simulator screenshots only. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in your track being removed from the exchange and/or suspension of your CoasterCrazy.com account with out warning."

In bold 12.5 font located next to and below the screen shot upload field. Been there since the announcement.

I know that Mikey, and YOU know that I know that ... but expecting people to actually read ... well, I give you this gem from the site rules:

"You will not upload tracks that are not made by you."

Know what I mean? :-)

Yes, I know. I proposed that we charge users $0.50 per track we must delete, thread me must lock, and $1.00 for each user we must ban. I took my argument all the way to the highest court at CoasterCrazy, yet the Honorable Oscar would not have it. It is the will of the people who demand justice, yet when justice is upheld we are quickly blamed and ridiculed for the "injustice" it causes others.

^"Thread we must lock"

So, if you post a complaint you have to be fined? Besides cool5 would go broke...
