So yeah, I've had the layout for this thing done like weeks ago, the supports are just coming along very slow, haha. I have about 30% of them done. So I'm just basically posting some pictures to get an idea of what you people think. And if you'd like to test, go ahead and let me know! So yeah, I'll just shut up and show you guys the pictures.

Dear godddd an Intamin rocket made with force vector that has a tilted loop that probably doesn't change banking, typical barrel roll, and that thing in the 3rd picture down...

The originality is blowing my mind.

Nah it's fine. It really is nothing great. He called the ride out for what it is. I'm a sarcastic person myself, so I'm use to it. It's cool, it's his opinion and he's welcome to it. No problem with that.

Nice Gerty, great way to put down a ride -.-

IMO the ride could have potential it just looks a bit spaced out.

^ That's probably the only bad thing about the ride. It's not the most compact thing out there, lol.

Yeah, no more talk about that stuff. You want to say anything, say it about my ride and what you think of it. Harsh or not, opinions are still welcome.

Yes I know Coasterkid, another launch, lol. I'm still new with Newton 2, so I happened to make another launch. Sorry it doesn't tickle your fancy, haha. [;)]

EDIT: His post is gone now, lol.

the weird high up corkscrew twisty thing in the 3rd picture looks pretty sweet.

What sort of launching speeds are we talking about?

Yeah, I am still not too sure what to call that thing actually, haha. And it launches to 78mph. My last launch was pretty slow at about 55mph, so I wanted to do something a little faster this time.

Honestly jenson if you're learning newton that's fine, but this looks like every too fast spread out "thing" that everyone is trying to pass off as intamin these days.
"Careful man, there's a beverage here!"

Like I said, yeah this thing isn't the most compact. Just something I was having a little fun with I guess. Not expecting it to be the next greatest ride on CC or anything, just something I thought would be at least upload worthy.(Hell, with half the crap, to put it nicely, that's posted these days, it's well above worthy to post) haha.

Looks cool. I'm not sure if you changed the perspective in the simulator, but some elements look drawn out. That said, I hope the speed is pretty high granted the elements and track look spread.

Haha, wtf roll it is then. [lol]

And Brthnboarder, like I said, they are a bit spread out, but it's a 78mph launch. Hopefully the two together works.

EDIT: Didn't want to double post, so I'll just put the update here.

So I'm working on supports,(something I keep putting off really badly) and I was wondering how this little support guy looked to you guys. I feel like it's needs something else, just not too sure what it is. What do you all think?

Doesn't look all that stable to me. What's the advantage to doing it that way vs. using more conventional methods?

I know it doesn't and it isn't the conventional way no, but I figured with how it's up off the ground like that I would try to come up with something creative to support it. I just like to do more then the norm is all. I really like messing around with supports. I meant there's Nostalgia and Jungle Jim that I made some support extras or differences. Just something I like to do I guess.

Alright well considering the forces in the middle of the element, I don't think what you have will work. Try modifying it some to make sure the spots under the highest forces are more well supported. Intamin did something like that with Storm Runner at the base of the immelman, so maybe you can use that as reference to help you make it more realistic while being a little different.

Yeah, I knew it looked a little weird there knowing that the g's are highest there. And alright, I'll look that up, thanks a lot for the suggestion. Very helpful and without the sarcastic bull, thanks man!

I'll have an updated picture eventually. If not tonight, soon.

I wonder if cool5 will be standing right under there when it collapses.. [lol]. But yeah, the supports are too thin the way you made them. If you're sticking with that size the joint of the A Frame should be higher.

^ i told jensen to look at stormrunner as well, that may be where he got this from. I like the idea, however the forces and height of that area really call for conventional triangle braces. I know you like to go outside the box with supports, but in this case it is a structural inconvenience. just go with the norm. You'll have plenty of opportunities for more complicated supports later in the ride (thinks of giant inclined loop, thinks of milleniums overbank support. hmmm...)

Yeah, I plan on working on it a lot. It will be supported! Hahaha. Last night I didn't go too much farther because I was working towards getting to sleep, but yeah, I'll work on it here sometime soon. Thanks for the help guys, seriously appreciated!

EDIT: Ok, I've been working on them and i think I got something functional. Here's the pictures.
