Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

The banking starts waaay too early. But if pulled off right it could actually be fun.

That actually looks kinda painful. Did you bank it around the heartline? The progression of the banking looks like it might cause the riders knees to yank. Maybe if you make it a bit bigger and slow down the rate of the banking? Im sure that sounds pretty retarted, but i cant really find the right words...

I've made this element in 2007.
And I still have the coaster to prove it, I think.

They weren't heartlined? Well that explains why the damn things hurt so much!

the banking should start later...and end later it should end right after the apex of the element

^^ they were made around the heartline.....

actually, in the twists on the SLC, the track goes around a straight horizontal pole.

^ actually no, I can't be bothered to find a picture out right now, but the spine isn't in a straight line on the twists. It is even further still from the heartline than that, it's almost like there is a heartline that runs along the track about a metre above the sine of the track.

They're more like corkscrews than actual heartline rolls.

no, im right......it may look curved, but its acutally straight. the track rotates around the pole.

Phill dog there is no riders, its not real, so everyones knee's will be okay, dont worry old chap.
But yeah, slower banking and commence the banking slightly later i reckon.

By the definition of heartline that is not heartlined

Remember, the angle at which a photo is taken, is just as important as the content of the photo itself.

My closing statement is as follows: Through the double inline twist element on Vekoma's SLC (689m Standard) Model, the spine is NOT straight.

you are wrong either way. you can not have the track rotate around the spine and still be heartlined.
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.
