I recently started work on a launched X-Car coaster lately. This will be my actual first attempt to upload a coaster her to this site. Some pics to set the mood:

It looks good. I think the turn in the last picture looks a little quick. How are the forces?

I wonder what kind of coaster I would get if I threw numbers at Newton 2?

Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

[lol] I was just wondering if I would end up with something exactly like this, I just did it, and the answer was yes. It's odd isn't it.

I'll admit that my coasters up to this point that were made with newton have been terrible. I feel like i have the hang of it now, though and my present and future coasters will not be the same including my contest entry ;)

I have to agree with Gouldy.
This is purebred newton shmuck.

Imo, trash it and start over.

Obviously ignoring gouldy and ianko, I put some effort in creating this. I did not "punch in numbers" as gouldy mockingly exclaimed. I did spend time on this ride trying to make it appear as a thrilling-yet-not-over-top experience. Anyway, I plan on supporting this later. I'm still open to suggestions/testers, but I think it best gouldy and ianko keep his opinions to himself from this point on.

Yeah, sorry, that was rude.
Really rude.

I just get off on my boat when I see 2 overnamked hills in the same picture.

Some suggestrions would be to maybe make one of those hills a non-banked hill and maybe have some height variation with terrain.

...And new colors. Haha.

The banked hills are there intentionally. The first overbanked hill gives strong floater air while the second banked hill gives stronger airtime. This balances with the last two unbanked ejector hill.

Also, peligroso = dangerous in Spanish, which is why I have the red, orange, and black color scheme.

While I admit, I could have said what I said in a more friendly manner, my opinion is my opinion, and an opinion it is. Why else have you put this topic up if it is that you do not wish to recieve people's opinions about this ride?

It seems that, at least on initial impressions, me and Ianko both had the same opinion of what the ride looks like. This might tell you that there could be something in what was said that might be worth noting?

If you are going to "ignore" anyone's opinion, then the topic is pointless, kindly remove it from the forum.

I'm hoping that's a good thing coming from you...

Anyway, gouldy, ianko apologized for his comment, which I forgave him for, but you rather would like to flame this topic instead. I'm looking for very constructive support for this ride, not some rude comment about it. If you have anything you can suggest for this ride to make it better, by all means speak your mind, but if all you have to say is insulting, it's best you keep your comments to yourself.

[lol]

Like I said before, what I said was and is my opinion, so I fail to see what there is to apologize for. While it was delivered in a tasteless fashion, what I said still stands a valid point. You choose to take it, or you don't, it's up to you. But don't hold out for any kind of apology for anything.

I find it lol worthy that you were unable to detect the *HINT* of sarcasm in CKMWM's post.

Anyway forget it, kid. Move on with your life.

Doesn't look the worst. My take on the whole newton argument is, sure, maybe you didn't punch in some random numbers, but I still don't see much direction in the layout. It looks a bit messy as if there wasn't much strategy or planning involved.

But generally, looks like an interesting ride.[;)]
