If you payed attention to my silva incendia post, you would know that I am currently making a side project. I need to know what looks better for the launch, so tell me what color scheme looks better in this pic for the launch(s): left or right

I personally think the left looks cleaner. The right side is too much where the left is visually pleasing to the eyes, but then will also look cool flying past while on the train. Plus if the rest of the coaster is going to have grey track, then it'll fit a little nicer. The right just seems a bit too... busy maybe? Lol. I like the left!

The left is muuchhh more realistic and looks alot better and less busy. They would never do the right paint job. But the left has been done.

I agree. The left looks a lot better. Although the only problem I see is that Intamin NEVER colors their track like that. It's always a solid color (I mean the three color choices that NL gives you. I know they color different sections different colors)

I actually love shockwave. Its funny because togo was stupid enough to give a standup ejector airtime.

^ haha only togo.

LEFT
I think the left looks much more refined and organized. The right looks slightly tacky and almost looks like your trying to hard with the colors.

So left looks better, but right follows Intamin... I'm not sure yet, but I might go with left

Don't go by "what follows Intamin". It's the paint scheme, not like having a B&M Hyper having inversions or something, it's the damn paint colors for crying out loud. The left looks cleaner and like said before, refined. That being so, go with it. If it's what you like, and others are saying looks better, go for it man!

For cost efficiency sake I think left is the more likely choice.

Just my 2 cents.

The only problem really is that yellow is a very bright color, and black is just the opposite. The colors need to be less of a stretch to not be an eye sore. If it were my coaster I would make the track a darkish green color and have white striped in for that area. If you really are stuck on the yellow though I would recommend: Lighten up the black (make it more of a gray) and dim the yellow just a bit, don't make it dull.

Doesn't the park choose the colors anyways? Why would Intamin say "you have to use these colors or we're not giving you the coaster." The left looks better also, the right side has too much going on.

1.I know about ttd's paint job and it is a color change every 20 ft or so, not every 2 ft.

2.I agree, slightly gray the black, and make the yellow a bit more orange and a bit dimmer(less neon).

FIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Left starts with a good punch, but right comes back with some great kicks. Left blocks some of the kicks and throws in a great combo of punches. Right tries to fight back and it seems that Right starts to win but on the last second Left hits the right side on the spine and KO's him. What a fight! What a fight! Left is the winnner!! [lol]

I just want to make this clear: The colors for the ride are grey and black. the black & yellow are only for the launch(s).

The left is more realistic but the right is more aesthetically pleasing.
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.
