Heres a video. I think that this looks like it not only sustains floater over the tops of those hills but it looks to me like there could be some decent -.5 ejector held over some of those hills. It also looks to have some good ejector from the mid brake to the end on the way in and out of that helix. And it hasnt even gotten its chance to break in yet. Looks to me like it will be one of the better B&Ms.

Nice video.

(I think the only thing you would feel the need to excuse yourself for is posting this as a new thread instead of in the Intimidator Carowinds thread)

some decent -.5

naa its to well shaped and alot of them too slow. i can see floater everywhere except for that last part into the final break. yet another B&M hyper coaster wich looks pretty mediokaish. i really wouldent call it special, its about time B&M did somthing special.

I have an idea. B&M starts remembering what a rollercoaster is.

It's Behemoth with an airtime hill!

Of course, it's a B&M mega coaster, what did you expect, a twister? I doubt we'll be seeing one of those soon. As for the ride itself, I'd like to see it run when the weather warms up, when it runs faster.

hmmm... I'v never been a big fan of this coaster, but it does look slightly faster than previous B&M megas. Bah, I'll give it a chance.

Hard to judge pacing right now...they might not be using the final wheels. If I'm not mistaken, Tatsu (among other B&Ms) tested first with wheels that let it run faster than desired, then had its wheels gradually switched out until the desired (slower) run time was hit.

Are you guys considering at all how cold it was outside when they tested the ride?

Based on current Charlotte weather, it was likely around 30-35 degrees F.

Yea .. it's colder, and there don't seem to be the dummies on the train. One can examine how different the passenger weight of a coaster makes by looking at the POV of MF. Without riders, it nearly comes to a halt in the first magnetic brake run. With riders, it coasts into the block brakes pretty quickly.

That said, I'll keep my fingers crossed for some air that's better than past B&M designs, but won't hold my breath ...

I think it looks to be a coaster with excellent airtime.

I still think it looks like the worst B&M hyper out of all of them.

Including Raging Bull? I really liked RB, but I haven't heard too many good things from others.

yeah, I definately think I305 will be the better of the two.
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

Yeah, it won't even be close between I305 and this, if you prefer your rides to be as exciting as possible. With that said, even a mediocre B&M hyper is a great ride in relation to the average coaster.

^ That all depends on your taste. I305 is more intense but I wouldn't say better. I say, both Intimidators are diappointing.

I honestly think I305 is coming out looking even better than it looked on all of the virtual models. You have to admit that first hill looks amazing. I bet it will be an even better drop than on MF!

I think I305 may be the best ride in the world when it opens, only held back by OTSRs and the one trim. The sustained speeds will be incredible, airtime strong and sustained, first drop one of the best in the world, and transitions very fast. The first hill will almost definitely have the longest sustained ejector airtime of any ride in the world, and the train will probably crest it at something like 45-50 mph lol.

Well the OTSRs are a reality so that half ruined it for me. I would have been so excited about this if it had had the t-bar style restraints, but they just had to put on those ugly things that hurt your legs.

Well the charity auction for the first ride on I305 has started... so far the highest bid is $275.
