I hate intamin OTSR's. I've been on Storm Runner and Fahrenheit and the shoulder piece slamming into your neck is not a pleasure.

Intamin should get back to the trains they put on Goliath and Expedetion GeForce, they didn't make you feel like you were in a case.

AY! I would come over there and beat you up if I didn't have to buy five seats on the airplane to get there!
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

It has been confirmed that the restrains will be like bakken's and will have the straps added later. Here is a picture of the seats.

Thank you Intamin for totally killing the sensation of airtime.

Grr, the airtimes not going anywhere, just because it has over the shoulder restraints it doesn't mean there's going to be no weightlessness, think about it.

^I said it ruins the sensation of airtime. In the good old day you would fly up during the floater part and be slammed into the restraint during the ejector.
Now you will still feel it, but you'll be squased down by the shoulder-things.

And you will only be paying attention to the fact that the restraint is stapling your thighs to the point where it starts to hurt.

You have to trick the ride ops into thinking that the restraint is all the way down when it isn't. otherwise it will leave a mark.

Doesn't matter, as in my experience these restraints go down under high forces, as opposed to their lapbars. Only difference will likely be the first drop airtime which, while important, isn't the entire ride.

Why does Intamin not contour the bottom of the lapbar section of the restraints?

I dont know because that is the reason why the pressure seems to get uncomfortable for me.

It doesn't really bother me, but I do think it would be more comfortable if they were coutoured like their lapbars.

I nominate the removal of lap bars in favor of electric seat belts.

yeah, it's the bottom bit of the restraint that hurts your thighs on Rita's air hills. It would be a lot better if they had a contoured shape in them to fit your legs a little more. But like Slosprint says, the old "push your stomach out and put your hand underneath the restraint" trick is a good one if you still want the "sensation" of airtime as hyyyper says. You can leave yourself a pretty good gap between your legs and the restraint. Only problem with that is; ejector hurts EVEN more, because of the poor ergonomics of the restraint contact with your legs.

No, you just don't have any feeling in your legs due to all those long years of your virginity.

Ah right i didn't see pictures of the Bakken coaster's restraint's. Thought they were just like the conventional Intamin OTSR and sat off the shoulder, these look pretty tight.
That love sucks.

Well, you WERE in Florida. Every time I visit there I gain a few pounds and get addicted to Meth.

You would think that contradicts but nothing makes sense in Florida.

Looks like testing is ready for the next couple days. You can see the white dummies sitting in the train on the transfer track.
