Sorry for going off topic, but could you explain that to me?
I don't quite understand what you mean.
I'm quite interested in Intamin's hill design!

I'm not sure the person I've discussed it with wants the full extent of what's happening here out yet as I don't think anyone else has "found" this yet....I will say watch the original SROS mounted POV video (or better yet, ride it) and you will see what I'm talking about.

As for the Estop thing....I'll just say what others just did and say you create some very unrealistic situations, create problems that actually happen on real rides (antirollbacks all over woodies?), and penalize for both. While I agree that an NL ride should be able to recover....The way you're doing it is not how it actually happens.

You are the biggest sucker judge in the history of the earth. Bad G's means everything is done faster and more exciting which means people like me that try not to build a steaming pile of horseshit get screwed over in the end. Have you not noticed that all of the "good" people treated the layout this round as a joke in the thread?

Also I get 0.1 to -0.3 G in the 6th row (middle of the train) over ALL of my hills. Their shaping is pretty damned close but not perfect, how the love am I supposed to pace it faster than it is already? Watch a goddamned POV, they usually pace slower than mine.

^This.

Also, looks like I'll have to build a nice hill out of the station next time so I don't fail e-stop!

I tried to estop your ride and for some reason I couldn't 'fail' it anymore. Being tired of watching the train go trough the course I sped it up and in 400% it didn't make the course.
So that was my mistake. Your rating then should be 0.5 higher. I'll double check those e-stop in the future!

If you press estop when the last 1 or 2 rows are still in the station the train gets to the transport tyres, but they are unable to propeler the train onto the lift when E-stop is released.

Ahhh ok, yeah fair enough.

Curious, when are you guys gonna get judges that don't completely and utterly suck?

Thanks,
DC

Not true. Someone who knows what he's doing did volunteer, was considered, and was turned down. Because of that, the judgements are of a quality bad enough to make them effectively random.

So I take it you have no explanation for a way to increase the pacing over my hills hyyyper?

I do not always agree with hyyyper's technique and quest to go away from manufacturer style, but what I do not like at all is total rudeness for no reason. hyyyper and gouldy have put their own time into this contest and someone of your age needs to rethink before you are so quick to be harsh.

It doesn't even affect you because you have chosen not to take part, I am not sure your 2 cents are welcome.

Maybe you should consider why some of us don't take part instead of saying we can't voice our opinions. The two might just happen to be related...

This won't mess up the pairings for next round, will it?

Ok, for some reason I was under the impression that there was an order to the pairings.

The Righteous Crusader has arrived! All criticism is mean unless it involves defending one of the emos crappy newton tracks in the exchange.

I am with ckmwm here.
I was also commented with pacing and gs.
My ride does lose pacing towards the end, but its also because its a long, long ride. It doesnt suddenly lose pace either, it just slows as any other [i] normal [\i] ride does.

And for gs, the entrance to most of my hills is -0.5 - -1 in the front. In the back it mostly exits the hill with -1 gs. The reverse sides with the opposite sides of the train both have minimum of 0gs oh the hills on other places.

Also, im amazing slos wasnt deducted for hius supports...
