Yeah the church influence is pretty bad.
The definition of represent is: take the place of or be parallel or equivalent to.
I didn't vote for them, so they don't represent me, nor do they speak for me or my family. However, since this person being written about is from California ... why don't you tell me and those here why your state allows these types of people to serve in a public office where, yes, they do represent you specifically.
