RCT1 - Accessing Custom Tracks

I downloaded and moved into the "Tracks" folder some downloaded tracks for RCT1, both TD4 and TP4 files, but the tracks aren't showing up in any of the coasters researched by the development team. In short, I can't find a way to actually use or even view the tracks within RCT1. The PDF manual says you can save track designs which have been tested, and they'll show up in the list of available designs when building a coaster of that type. So I'm not even sure if these downloaded coasters would even be recognized, and I can't find a way to get the game to "notice" they're there. Any ideas of what I should do here? I've searched the web, but there are so many dead links and RCT2 and 3 mix-matches that actually /finding/ any information has been impossible. People just make it as easy as dumping files into your track directory, and it should "work", but it isn't in this case.

You have a very twisted way of entertaining yourself. The only upside was that I saw one of the best-looking naked female butts I've ever seen in my lifetime on the bottom of that screen. The only bad part was that it sabotaged my browser and I had to use the task manager to shut down Firefox. If you do go to that site, disable Java and it shouldn't sabotage you.

i dont know, but i had to hard stop the computer to get it off the screen when i turned the computer back on i had to completely delete firefox, and my task manager showed 212 processes before it slowed to a ner stop .. ban .. virus or no ban him .

I found it odd that someone with such a long posting history would have posted a link like that. Maybe some kid logged into his dad's account and posted the link? I'd hate to thing someone innocent lost their account over all this.
