yeah there is floater over the entire hill. really cool feeling but not as good as the ejector on the 2nd hill. I still cant get over that feeling of being thrown upwards into the restraints!

Yeah those OTSRs were soooo needed with that rides intensity. Like if someone passed out on the "blackout turn".

^ I have to agree with you on that. If it were like Millennium Force with little to no airtime I would expect no OTSR but with this ejector air and transitions there needed.

Just wondering, does anyone know how tall the 2nd hill is?
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

Guys, I'm actually at a hotel near Willaimsburg, just left KD today. Gotta say...

It is a BEAST!

The only thing wrong with it is the restraints, and other than that it's pretty much amazing. The first drop rivals MF's and that first turn has got some damn strong forces. Then, just before you black out from them, you're being thrown up into your restraints and pulled down into those transitions. I'll probably write more and post some pics when I get home, but seriously, those videos don't do it justice...damn.

Oh, and they were giving out free shirts to the first 1000 riders, got two of them. Dale Earndhart was there (sp?) signing them, too. There was a band playing and everything..haha, just everything about it was awesome.

Heck, I'd go to that meetup. I think Dullus is closest, although I could be wrong.

Edit: I'm not sure yet but I think I could work out May 1-5th. Actually 2-4, seeing as I need time to get there and back.

I thought so, looking at pictures, comparing it proportionally to the initial/lift hill, you can guesstimate that it is about half the size of it - about 150 feet tall.

(As I stated previously on CoasterFanatics)...

I'm (hopefully) riding it sometime in June during my stay down there in Virginia for my cousin?????????s open house. Looks like a good layout, but it seems a bit shorter compared to say, Millennium Force, or even some B&M hyper coasters such as Nitro, however nonetheless, it seems to have a bit more exciting twists and turns, so it seems like a good, fancy layout!

Its a great ride, but no Millennium Force. I thought everything about it was awesome. Airtime yes but not as much as i expected there would be. Though the restraints are not a problem, i wish they werent there. the only part of that ride i thought they might have been needed is the final turn.

^Do you realize that people have blacked out on this? You will fall forward and break your back. Also, those people who put there hands in the air will be ripped forward on those transitions. Now explain how this is no Millennium Force. It isn't supposed to be but the point you made was that there was not enough airtime. Yet, Millennium Force has barely any airtime itself.

MF Is highly overrated and other than the drop, there is seriously nothing there. Seriously. I mean this thing has THE DROP! Freaking twist and turns at high speeds like no other. Please tell me how this is not better than MF. Even though I haven't been on I305 yet, I really can't see how MF is better than this.

Agreed, I have been on MF and there were only two good parts.

1: The drop
2: the small ejector hill going past the station

Yeah, that's pretty much it.
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

Ive been on MF and there were more than that-

1: The lift
2: The drop
3: The first overbank
4: The low to the ground turn through the tunnel
5: The big hill (at night in the back when it has airtime)
6: Small hill next to it
7: Smaller hill

You might like I305 better than Mille. Mille is just the ride I prefer. Sure The lift is quicker than Mille but I felt the ride was not as good. That is all I was saying. I wasnt looking to be bashed. Mille broke ten world records when it came out...how many did I305 break? I'll take Mille's overbanked turns with only a lap bar and seat belt over I305'S Otsr's any day of the week.

mf was just an attempt to give CP more rides with titles ending in "st".

Just FYI, breaking records has nothing to do with the ride itself, it has to do with other rides that are around at that time. Would you prefer I305 if it was build when MF opened and MF had just recently opened?

No, i still would prefer Millennium Force if it would have recently opened. Millennium hands down. I just thought Mille was better. Thanks for not blasting me. A lot of other reports have Mille beating I305 by a close margin, as so do i. I like I305'S lift better.
