3d's

I want to try to add 3d's on SM im making models with Sketchup But how do i get these Files to turn into a file that will work with SM and i can get into the Object Editor

I've never understood all these different ways people are coming up with to write "3ds"......it's just a file extension.

I don't think he was trying for 3DS, I think he meant the plural of "3D" which ironically is 3Ds.

Anyway, to answer your question you need the registered version of Sketchup which will allow you to export files in a format called 3DS which you can then load as scenery in the track editor.

At lest he spaced out his 2 sentences, clearly seperating them and making them easier to read.

I think good grammar is just as important as you, but chill out. To all that have bashed him for it, stop being so harsh. He's new and did not know it was such a big deal. Consider that he assumed this was just another forum on the Internet. Chances are he was not trying to write something grammatically perfect but instead he was just casually typing. Now that he knows it bother many of the members here than I am sure he will take more time on his posts in the future.

A period is used to separate sentences. It is EXTREMELY difficult to read at least two sentence when they are not separated by a period. If a post ends and you don't add a period, it is known to everyone that the sentence has ended. As A7 mentioned, this is just a forum. Being careless happens. I am not saying you have to perfect. All I am saying is make it readable. When I read something like "... I just want the answer dont post anything if you just going to say that," It takes me a while to process what you are saying. I have to figure out where the period would be and read it over. It makes it easier on the reader and, as you can see, yourself. Not only that, it makes you look more mature and not have to be baby'ed by A7. [;)]

I'm not trying to be an a**h*le here but please stay out. Reading that, I can see you don't know the whole situation. Most of us are angry because of actions he has done in the past. He posted a rude rate and posted it on many of tmv8888's tracks. He then replied with a different account (this one) thinking that he could get away with it. He has also posted something rude but unreadable on one of my rides replying to something right after a rating from his old account. (Which is why I am also bashing his grammar) I don't feel you have a right to be defending him. I understand why you said that but I don't feel that he should be defended and I didn't believe you understood. His old account was actually pretty old, so, don't say he is new.
