UK peeps: Seen this ad popping up on the tellybox. Looks to me like a decidedly appalling bag of wank. What do you reckon?

Ha, that is a major fail show.

Did Thorpe put OTSRs on its S&S swing or was that just something for the show? Oh and the show does look awful.

They tried something like that here....pretty sure it lasted like two episodes before getting canceled.

What you can see is the camera suit they're wearing. So they didn't have to fix anything to the ride, they had the D listers wearing a suit with a chest plate, off which the camera was mounted.

I couldn't imagine how poor the ride would seem if it had OTSRs on it!

Haha, we've seen some of the recordings when I was in Thorpe park. The show looks funny to do, but way to easy for us rollercoaster addict. I'm sure we can do a full presentation during a rollercoaster ride...

Britain just oozes suck at the moment.

They tried a similar show over here in the US a year ago but it was only on a Vekoma boomerang and the show failed miserably.

Ok good, I know parks can go overboard on modifying their rides to make them "safer" but I thought that was a little too far.

yeah...they did something like this a knotts. called it brainrush. itcompletely failed...questions were really easy, like 6th or 5th grade level....and it was on boomerang, silver bullet, and xcellerator. really lame cuz xcellerator was their "most extreme" coaster....
