Actually, the brake has been added to create a ride experience like you're riding on a real circuit. aka. Decelerating before doing a turn.

If you want a real circuit experience, get something like Test Track at Epcot, not a rollercoaster. Besides, what race-circuit features that first turn that ringracer has?

The corkscrew?

In circuits you can also have major height differences. But they aren't really common. I don't really care about those speed records actually. It's cool that they try to reach that speed, but with those brakes right behind the launch you'll never know if you've reached the top speed or not. I'll be riding the ride because I want to feel how insane the acceleration and deceleration could be.

Ah, Laguna Seca's famous corkscrew, an awesome, awesome example of EXTREME height differences in a circuit!

Mike's Rule #48

It only takes one stupid guest to love up everyone's day. On the bright side at least we get paid overtime for having to fill out all that paperwork.

They're only like 1 of 5 companies that still has a pair of balls. B&M and the like are a lost cause.

Raging Bull is amazing. I've been riding it every day since I was 9, and I still love it.

Avalanche kicks ass. But that's more of a CCI.

So would that also infer that Premier is terrible, because neither Mr. Freezes ran their scheduled first year?

^Yes, because we got a Vekoma junior coaster at Great America instead of a Mr. Freeze! [lol]

When they went bankrupt, the president of CCI went to work for S&S designing wooden coasters.

Actually that's true.
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

Question to Bullshit detector(Coasterkidmwm):
Is there Bullshit incoming?
All RCCAs should be RMC'd. And that event shall be henceforth known as the Rollercaust.

The bullshit detector was activated when someone said Raging Bull was amazing. Nice drop in the backseat, rest of the ride is a waste of time.

i think S&S is one of the greats along with arrow. big thing i like about these 2 are that they aren't and were never afraid to try new extremes and designs.
the S&S knex coaster like mumbo jumbo is at the moment my favorite coaster design simply because its so versatile. it can do speed, sharp turns, wierd elements and it can be compact or im shure on a bigger scale.
mumbo jumbo is deffo number 6 in my top 10 coasters. its glass smooth, exciting, cumfortable and looks pretty damb cool too. i would love to see what could be done with it in a space theme or a mountain theme half indoor half outdoor.

but back on topic

other parks have not taken up a no poncho rule on coasters around the uk after this including blackpool, lightwater, oakwood, skegness and drayton to name but a few. ponchos wet rides only i think should be a rule all parks use. its one of them rules which is actually usefull.

Since you don't seem to like anything at Great America, what do you even do for fun?

The funny thing is when the new knex coasters came out, I thought they were extremely unrealistic. Then S&S proved they could be built.

Batman, Ragin Cajun, American Eagle, Viper, Whizzer, Demon, Raging Bull when it has a short line (only for the back seat), and the Dark Knight coaster.

I had to convince my friends for five minutes to ride in the back, and not wait in the super long line for the front.

I kind of agree with that, but without Cajun and Demon, and Iron Wolf instead of Batman. If Bull is more that 30 min, I'll go to the Eagle.
