It depends what type of seats they use on the PTCs...the hard foam ones kind of hurt but the upholstered ones (which Dash has) are great. Parks go for the hard foam ones because they don't tear...but they aren't really comfortable at all unfortunately.

Anyone been on the Coney Island Cyclone lately? The padding they have on the seats and lapbars is ridiculous. It's like instead of replacing track on the ride, they add more padding to the seats.

They're going to be running one of Raven's trains for a few weeks for capacity reasons since the new trains aren't ready.

Are they ugly or are they ugly?
All RCCAs should be RMC'd. And that event shall be henceforth known as the Rollercaust.

To me they look slightly like I've taken the park off my list of parks to visit before I die.

I think they look cool too. Aside from that (hopefully) temporary thing out in front of the trains...

There is a row of seats that will cover that. Guessing it's not installed so they easily check the axle/wheels.

I hope that noise is just off season rust build up and will soon be fixed with grease. Still think they should run the PTCs.

I think they look cool. Hopefully the ride doesn't lose any quality...I'm tall and PTC lapbars don't let me get much air anyways (especially since they move down during the ride) so I doubt it would be much worse at all for me even if the lapbars are more snug. Looks like it's taking the track at a decent speed considering it's squealing so much right now (friction ahh) and considering there are no passengers to add momentum.

do you really think a pair of trains would significantly change a ride's experience enough to where one of the highest rated rides in the world would not be that great anymore?

Can we please wait until people start riding these to before we judge how they affect the ride experience?

*Waits for a resounding "no"*
