Yes, it's finally finished. A lot of last minute planning on this trip but the exact dates are in. In a couple of days I'll be leaving towards America for 3 full weeks, but I won't take it slowly on this trip. My goal: Visit as many huge themeparks on this trip and take some major themeparks(and Rollercoasters) of my wishlist!

My complete Themepark Planning:

Monday 31th May: Six Flags Great America
Tuesday 1st June: Cedar Point
Wednesday 2nd June: Cedar Point
Thursday 3rd June: Cedar Point & Waldameer
Friday 4th June: Kennywood
Saturday 5th June: Hershey Park
Sunday 6th June: Knoebels
Monday 7th June: Dorney Park
Tuesday 8th June: Six Flags New England
Wednesday 9th June: Lake Compounce
Thursday 10th June: Six Flags Great Adventure
Friday 11th June: Six Flags Great Adventure
Saturday 12th June: Six Flags America
Monday 14th June: Kings Dominion
Tuesday 15th June: Kings Dominion
Wednesday 16th June: Busch Gardens Williamsburg

A side note: I won't be changing anything in this planning. So there is no need for messages, from people, to request a shuffle in planning.

If anyone is willing to meet up a fellow coaster addict. Let me know! I'll be having an internet connection in about every hotel that we are staying so I can keep track on this site.

Planned meetups:
Jonny Richey - SFGA (31th May)
Bockzilla - SFGA (31th May)
Tetsu - Dorney Park (7th June)
Slosprint - Lake Compounce (9th June)

People possible at work on trip:
Coasterdave - Cedar Point (Blue Streak)
Tetsu - Dorney Park (Meteor)

Boooo for LC on a Wednesday. Also, stop at Rye Playland between LC and Coney/SFGADV too if you can. It's a cool little place thats pay per ride so it's cheap and not too far off of 95.

Nice trip Dirk. Have a blast. Too bad you won't be able to experience X (now X2) out here on the West coast. Arrow's last coaster before Bankruptcy. Enjoy your trip.

Yup, I'm 97 percent sure I will be able to go. We will have to pick up our season passes so do you want to meet at the season pass counter?
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

I've experienced X2 already back in 2008 [;)]

That's fine with me. It would also be nice if we could share out some other info through PM. (Cell for example, always easy in case anyone is late or whatever.)

Why boo for LC on Wednesday. It's the only possible day for me to go. Visit on a Tuesday would end up with all closed rides! [lol]

And thanks for the Rye Playland hint! 2 more woodies with one that actually looks pretty fun! [:)]

I've been there and I thought the dragon coaster was very good (although a bit forceless). The dragon tunnel is one of the coolest things on a coaster I have seen [lol]

Haha Dirk let me add that Knoebels is working on Black Diamond...Flying Turns is reported to just sit there. Maybe it will open by 2013.

And Rye Playland is awesome! But you need a kid for the kiddie woodie :(

That's too bad about the flying turns. Oh well, hearing from stories I would like the park too without the flying turns. 2 other amazing wooden rollercoasters. [:)]

And needing a kid for the kiddie woodie. That sucks, why is it always America that thinks up those lame rules of that you'd need a kid to ride those tiny rides... [:(]

Also, due random looking on the maps from coaster-count.de I found one more awesome location that I could possibly add: Casino Pier and FunTown Pier. 4 coasters on each location when they are like 100ft away from eachother [lol]

The pier is only open on friday evening according to their sites, which mean I gotta leave a little earlier on the last day that I'm visiting SFGAdv. [:D] Some of their rides look pretty much crazy and insane [lol]

If we'll going to visit or not will depend on the time itself. As soon we are there and like: Meh, seen SFGAdv. Then we could head off to check those 2 piers! [pshades]

Dirk,
I can meet you on Monday 31th May: Six Flags Great America.
Too bad you could not make CP Fri/Sat for Coaster Mania.
If you are going to make a scene, be seen.

Because night rides on Dash > pretty much every other coaster.

And the kid wood coaster at Rye isn't rideable. However, Dragon Coaster is decent and Superflight is actually kind of fun. Their mouse also runs without trims.

Awesome, I've noted it down. Would be awesome!
And Yes, i've seen the coatermania days event at Cedar Point. In one way it would be cool to go, but on the other hand there would be too many coastergeeks in the park. Aka. Longer queues. [lol]

hmmm... I have never been to Lake Compounce on an education day... hopefully that won't make it too crowded.

You were so close to being able to meet me at Dorney. I am going with my band (and the Chorus) on the 4th. However, the weather doesn't look too good for either of us. It rained last year. I hope it doesn't again this year. Well, have fun!

Awesome! Would be a great way to show me around Dorney park [:D]

Starting from now, live updates on the complete trip!

I've currently arrived in my hotel at the airport. We'll be staying here for 3 nights. We'll be leaving soon to Chicago City, tomorrow we'll also take a look around Chicago. And Monday we'll be visiting SFGA than.

Me and bockzilla have currently a meeting point at the BK near the park. Than we'll be continuing to the park, where Jonny Richey should be somewhere. [lol]

Some pictures:

Driving with sunset to the airport [:D]

Talking about lot's of people waiting to get a seat on the plane. We have already seats assigned so why stack up at the entrance?

Listening music to kill time

@ Atlanta, lazy ass way on traveling! [:D]

Whoa, lot's of people! It looks almost like a themepark in the holidays! [lol]
