First and foremost, I wanna say, its a good coaster. Lets get that out of the way, I just want to compare it to how it used to be before they added the brakes at the end of the first drop.

First drop - Alright, awesome, we're getting on the ride, woohoo, wait........why is it slowing down so much. AH!

The famous blackout turn - this is nowhere near as intense as it used to be, only in the very back seat do I gray out a bit when it used to be every seat was a super intense experience.

125 or so foot hill - Worst part, now its super slow, you don't fly out of your seat and its just dissapointing now if you've ridden this ride in its prime.

4 turns - they are still good and pretty intense, but man, they used to just be a brutal thrill and they are noticably less intense.

70 or so foot hill - well, actually feels slightly faster believe it or not, you come out of your seat a little bit more

left turn drop - wow, this is actually a little more intense than it used to be

small drop into the brake ramp - again, slightly more intense than it used to be.

Overall - Only the back seat and the front seat is any good anymore during the best parts which are the first 2/3s of the ride anyway. When it used to be any seat was a thrilling intense experience. I actually liked graying out on this ride a bit because no other ride made me do that, but unfortunately, thats mostly gone now. The front seat is still a great ride because the ride overall is slightly longer and you get lots of wind in your face but I was HIGHLY dissapointed how the ride changed. I could understand it though but I can at least say I rode this about 50 times when this ride was the bomb. Now, I don't even know if this is better than Griffon, which was my 2nd favorite rollercoaster.

Wow, sounds like this really killed the whole experience of the ride! It's really a shame.... [:(]

All RCCAs should be RMC'd. And that event shall be henceforth known as the Rollercaust.

I vote that we force LOEA to not make up any more words. It is annoying as heck.
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

This sucks! I was looking forward to riding this beast of a coaster. I have heard nothing but rave reviews for it. Now I'm pissed that I'll have to get the knock off version of the real thing. I guess it is good that I didn't get to ride it when it was at it's original speed. Its not as disappointing that way. LONG LIVE MILLENIUM FORCE!!!

Well, I305 is a giga coaster... and there is only one other giga coaster in the world... and the two were built 11 years apart, so...
Oh, were you expecting something here?

*Facepalm*

You seem to have the US mixed up with the world.

The discussion was abut Intamin. He was obviously implying Intamin since Live on Earths Ass was asking about Intamin.

Um... there are only 2 Intamin giga coasters in the world. FACT

Your "corrections" are false, slosprint and coasterpimp.

Since the U.S. is home to the two Intamins gigas, that means that the only two Intamin gigas in the world are in the U.S.. This means that there are only two Intamin giga coasters in the world!!!!
Oh, were you expecting something here?

There's a Morgan coaster in Japan called Steel Dragon 2000 that is 318 feet tall. That's a giga coaster, and also their point.

Um... giga is a term used by Intamin only so far...

But, since you decided to be a smart-ass and just decided any ride over 300 feet is an automatic giga coaster, then I can't wait to ride SFMM's giga coaster when I go there this summer!!! *Oh, and SFGAdv.'s giga coaster too!* Shame I can't go to CP this year and ride those two giga coasters there.

Sadly, yes... seeing how you can't say something with assumed knowledge behind it without smart-assisms...

Those would be called strata coasters, as with any coaster over 400'. However, I would not consider Superman: the Escape a strata coaster currently as it only goes up the tower around 150' at the moment.

LOEA... there is no news of whether or not Intamin has any more rides planned yet because OS for parks are just starting, and plans for 2011 are not yet known.

*facepalm* towards coasterpimp...

I know it's Wikipedia, but it's as close to a reliable source as anyone's going to get regarding this stuff...

A Giga Coaster is a complete-circuit roller coaster with a height between 300 and 399 feet. The term was coined by a Cedar Point and Intamin AG partnership after the construction of Millennium Force. There are three Giga coasters worldwide: Millennium Force at Cedar Point, Steel Dragon 2000 at Nagashima Spa Land in Japan, and Intimidator 305 at Kings Dominion. Millennium Force and Intimidator 305 were built by Intamin AG while Steel Dragon 2000 was built by Chance-Morgan.

2010-2000 is definitely not 11...just saying.
