when I read the news topic about clean the birds or kill them, it was something of a suprise that i've never read any topic like this before. It would make sense to say clean them or let them die and not kill them but that's just me and I could be wrong. Take a look and share your thoughts on this: http://cosmiclog.msnbc.msn.com/_news/20 ... -kill-them

Of course the Europeans are saying that.

And, of course, an American is saying this: "But, you know, we caused their pain and suffering, so we owe it to them to do everything we possibly can to give them a fighting chance of survival."

I believe they should do everything they can to rehabilitate the wildlife in that area, and I think BP should be paying everyone taking the time to do this as well as paying for rehab refuges while a cleanup is underway. Euthanasia should only be a last resort for animals that have absolutely no chance of survival and are suffering. But any that have a chance of survival (which the statistics in that article point to as being a much higher number than that scientist says) should be rehabilitated and have a safe refuges set up, on BP's bill.

Was it the American engineers or the British engineers that decided it would be a great idea to extract the drilling mud at the absolute stupidest time possible and cause this entire disaster?

BP = British Petroleum but they're multinational so I'm trying to figure out which branch caused this.

You're back!

Edit: the amount of oil in the gulf is now double what they thought.
