During the winter of 2008 - 2009, I spent about three months cataloging virtually every single amusement park on the planet with something larger than a kiddie coaster, primarily for my own personal trip planning purposes. I couldn't get anything on India or North Korea because whenever I went over those countries, Google Earth kept quitting on me and I lost all the places that I saved. The only programs I used were Google Earth, rcdb, Google Maps and Bing Maps.
Information to help you decipher my maps:
-Green thumbtacks are parks
-Yellow thumbtacks are approximate locations of parks (I couldn't find them on Google Earth, but it's probably close by)
-White pushpins are Airports
-Blue thumbtacks are kiddie parks that may or may not be interesting
-Orange thumbtacks are HQ's of some coaster and ride companies
