That was an amazing game! U.S.A. winning the group. U mad England?

Why would we be mad, we are through and that is all that matters.

Came out different than I meant it, excitement of the moment... I meant it more along the lines of do you guys somewhat respect us more now considering we did manage to win the group. It seems U.S. soccer has always been disrespected IMO.

Personally i think that Usa have started to take football alot more seriously over the years. I don't think it was disrespect at all but more about expecting England to be a better team in general. I must admit I was expecting us to beat you but it wasn't meant to be. Congratz for getting through.

I'm glad to see both teams making it through, because I'm a fairly big Premier League fan. It's going to be really interesting to see how england and U.S. fare in the knockouts. I'd be surprised if either team made it very far though.

I as expecting for Germany to be all over Ghana in the first half. So far, Germany has been a major disappointment in this world cup.

England will probably end up playing Germany now in the last 16, then if somehow we manage to get through that (which we won't), we'll get Argentina, which we DEFINITELY won't get through.

Yoshi:

USA have always been a bit of an unkown, because no one outside of the US really sees any of the football played there. European countries would always expect to beat USA because Europe is obviously a lot more passionate about the sport than the US, but USA has about the same population as the whole of Europe put together. So, even though the country probably doesn't really care, it's likely that it would produce decent players. Having said that England does see America's very best players, because they play in the Premier League, which is obviously the greatest league in the world [:)]

You'll get Mexico cuz Argentina is going to lose to Mexico 2-1. Then you'll lose to Mexico 4-0. [:)] *wishful thinking*

[lol] I love that Italy AND France have both had even worse World Cup campaigns than England. Italians deserve everything bad that happens to them, they are everything that is wrong with the sport.

The only thing Italians ever got right was pizza.
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

This World Cup is turning out like World War II; The French chickened out at the start, the Americans turned up really late and the English were left to fight the Germans.

loolz.

Where is the part where our team joins your team, wins everything, and then gets no help in the other league (the Pacific theatre)?

Any game in which two points is a massive lead needs to rethink its rules. Sorry, but it's true.

Any game that stops for 5 minutes after 30 seconds of game and any game that has players that can only move in one directions shouldn't exist at all.

What you have just said is simply untrue. In football breaks between plays only last 45 seconds, sometimes less, not including timeouts, halftime etc. Also, the ball can move in either direction, eg. sacks, fumbles, interceptions, or any good defensive play.
