4 Coasters A Day?!

This website was great until the new 4 coasters a day rule. I used to download as many as I wanted but not anymore. And I'm not upgrading to Premium. This is a stupid rule that the owners should remove.[:(!]

I agree with mikey, wipe your tears. If your that concerned about it why not help the site out, if not then you oblviously dont care that much about it.

I have looked over your account coasterhero, in the two years you have been on this site you have contributed two tracks (Neither of which managed to be rated higher then a 2), two forum post (both of which were completely useless and contributed nothing) but yet you managed to download quite a number of tracks. Now lets see here, if we calculate what it cost for us to serve up those tracks to you it adds up to about $17.50. That includes bandwidth, storage, and me and Oscars time moderating this place.

The way I see it you can contribute to this site in two ways, with your wallet or with your social contributions. You have contributed absolutely nothing.

Thanks to members like you, this site is on the edge of survival the last few years. By helping out the site a little bit you'd get so many advantages back, and that for only $25 a year! For example: You can download tons of coasters more a day!

Let's break that $25,- down, shall we:
Only $2,08 a Month!
Only $0,48 a week!
Just $0,07 a day!

So yeah... What is 7 cents a day to you? Even if it's only to increase your maximum downloads. [:)]

or how about, if you complain we half the number of coasters per day you can download

Let us also bring to light the amount he rates:
He has downloaded 568, rated 5. So, he's rated 0.88% of what he has downloaded.

4 coasters a day isn't that bad, considering that there are only about 4 coasters every two weeks even worth downloading. :/

I can see this policy only being a problem on contest deadlines. Other than that I agree with disaster249 . . .

It shouldn't be a problem on contest deadlines as uploads are restricted to 2 a day and I don't think you'll be uploading more than 2 tracks in the day it is due. Downloads shouldn't be a problem for contests as they are typically help by members with a premium status or higher which don't have the download limit in place.

And just +/- 0,38 euro for a week

Ok. I have an idea. Instead of downloading a billion coasters...

MAKE THEM!!!
And make them good. We have a bunch of poop coasters on this site.

The exchange wouldn't be near as bad if we didn't have little noobs posting three times a day.

If this website is not self sustaining by then, it will be closed down. In other words, this site has to be making $600 every 6 months. By August, this site has to have made $600. We are at about $77 so far [:)]
