For those of you who may remember, this is NOT my old Saci project. This is a completely new design.

PROGRESS = 100% (with a couple of touch ups)

Saci is a small GG/CCI coaster that's sort of been a little project on the side for me. Even though the project may have been small, I really like how this coaster has turned out. It still packs the thrills sending you on a trip through the woods filled with headchoppers and airtime.

Stats

Drop Height: 80ft
Top Speed: 48mph
Total Length: 2500ft

The station isn't anything fancy.

Looking great. Very scenic. Does it have a custom environment?

Something I just noticed. Aren't lateral braces supposed to make a 90 degree angle with the track? Yours are somewhat over that.

@disaster249 - The environment is whirlwind by canadmos. I don't know the specifics of lateral bracing with this kind of hybrid steel structure. I know that with a fully wooden stucture, the lateral bracing doesn't always make a 90 degree angle... I can certainly change it if that is a strict characteristic of a hybrid steel structure though.

edit: you know what, I've looked at some pictures and I think your right. I've now adjusted the lateral bracing to better fit that 90 degree profile. Thanks for spotting that out.

Its not a requirement by no means, but they should be somewhat perpendicular. Can't wait for this thing to be uploaded.

Since I have some extra time on my hands, I just whipped up this simple car texture.

Its my first attempt at making a car texture so, I dont think it came out too bad. [:p]

Actually, 90 degree lateral bracing on high g turns is ideal. It isn't necessarily manditory, but having the force of the train's acceleration going straight into the supports rather than at an odd angle will help it to stand the test of time.

^^ Thanks Iron Man. I have adjusted the bracing.

^yes... But don't take me as one of their emo die hard fans. I simply enjoyed their music at the time I created my username.

I got into A7X when I found out that Synyster Gates (Brian Haner Jr.) is the son of Guitar Guy (Brian Haner Sr.) from Jeff Dunham's shows. I'm not emo either but I like their music alot. And the ride looks awesome...can't wait for it to be released!

Surely the banking of the track has no real relevance to the angle of the supports?

What is important in terms of the lateral bracing is the direction in which the force is travelling, which in a corner on a wooden coaster is definitely not perpendicular to the track. The angle of the bracing, for optimum support, would surely be for it to be at the exact angle of the direction the force is acting in? I've never really put a lot of thought into this, but just thinking off my head, I would have to assume this was the case.

The first drop of Fenrir reminds me of the FD of Colder Fusion...
