Hey guys I leave tommorow morning for my sister's Florida softball trip for a week. We will be doing Sea World and Universal so I'll add 2 new coasters in Manta and H:RRR. We will be stopping by Carowinds and KD on the way home (KD just to ride I305). I had a similar topic posted before...but mainly I'm interested in knowing how long generally we would need at Carowinds...will either be there on Sat. or Sun. I assume Intimidator is the first ride to go to but after that what's the best plan from anyone who's been there?

PM me or post here...up to you...thanks in advance!

Hey guys...just got to my hotel in Florida this morning...unexpectedly drove all thru the night due to heavy traffic in D.C...but it enabled us to do KD on the way down instead of on the way home next week, so that means more time at Carowinds next weekend! I was only in the park for 2 hours...but walked on I305 on the front and back rows (I think a little better in the front). Awesome ride except for the awful trims on the drop :/ but other than that was smooth as glass and was an absolute thrill! Took a few circuits on Dominator and Volcano and headed out...I kid borrowed for Taxi Jam cuz in my previous trips I skipped it so I added 2 credits bringing me to 126. Tuesday we are going to Sea World cuz my sister's team has no games...so I will add Manta and I can't wait!!!

As for Carowinds...if I can get on everything that would get me to the 140 mark and I'd like to hit CW before college to get over 150...so it's gonna be a great week!

If anyone can help with Carowinds suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate them! Thanks!

Hey all...just got back from Sea World down here. Rode Kraken twice..once in front once in back...and rode Manta 3 diff. times. If you ride on the far right seat you actully do get a bit wet from the water splash and I thought Manta was awesome! I loved it! Overall a good day. Carowinds this weekend on my way home too so I'm excited!

don't go to Universal Go to Busch Gardens. I was going to go to Universal when I went to Florida, but Harry Potter Land just opened so we went to Busch Gardens and nobody was there. I had like a 5 minute wait for front row on SheiKra. SheiKra kicks ass. Make sure to get an edge seat though.

I went to Universal and the waits were fine...everything was less than 15 minutes and Harry Potter was only like a 30 min wait or walk on if you used the single rider line.

Absolutely agreed! I loved the back and I rode on the far right and actually got a little wet so that was a nice surprise to cool off a bit! Deff. a great ride.

Just got back home this morning at 3am.

Got to our hotel at Carowinds at 5AM after leaving Orlando around 8PM Sat. night. Woke up at 9 and went in. The threat of rain (but thankfully not the fall) made for easy walk ons all day long. Nighthawk was closed (and after talking to the Afterburn ride op, found out it will be down for the rest of the season) and only one side of Thunder Road was running, but I had ridden all 12 coasters aside from those 2 by 1 o clock...rode everything in the front and back (except the smaller ones) and kid borrowed to get on Lucy's Crabbie Cabbie. I think the trains on Carolina Cobra are much nicer than the typically Boomerang trains. It's like a vest and two bars that are far away from your head to eliminate headbanging. Intimidator was excellent. My only complaint is the trims just like the KD one. The Carowinds Intimidator could be even better if they laid off those trims, but it was still awesome! Afterburn was my other favorite...the back seat is absolutely insane especially through the batwing. Reminded me alot of Montu's...personally I liked Afterburn's a little better because of the mist filled tunnel. Overall it was a good day. Left around 6PM and got all my video footage and were on the road back to PA. We got in at 3AM so that's why I'm up late. Deff. worth a stop by Carowinds if your in the area. Not a CP caliber park by any means, but a good park with decent rides and coasters. Staff was very friendly and nice to talk to. And I personally enjoyed the new B&M hyper trains! That's all for now...Lemme know what you guys think of the Carowinds Intimidator!

Yea I got a sport strap so they don't fall off so it's nice.

And they take clear as crystal video and have great sound quality.
