I think you got the "joke" soundtrack which is made up of random movie clips. The other one fits the ride somewhat better.

Why in the hell would they intentionally make the ride worse with a joke soundtrack? Also, what is the other soundtrack like?
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

I really don't see how it makes it worse. The layout and airtime are still amazing. And I personally found the Blues Brothers quote pretty funny.

And the other one syncs up with the ride better...and isn't random movie quotes.

Oh, I was preoccupied trying to understand it rather than actually enjoying the ride. It was also turned up louder than I remembered it. I am quite certain that the trains run more slowly than the old ones though. There was one hill where I didn't even get floater.

i havent been to sfne, but i must admit that if i lived closer, i would be pretty pissed too. those trains look much more uncomfortable. i dont understand why you would change anything about that coaster, most people already regarded it as one of the best in the world if not the best.

When I rode Bizzaro at Great Adventure, I didn't notice the sound track at all, and when I did, it was all unintelligible...
Oh, were you expecting something here?

That's because the speakers on SFGAdv's coaster are lower (waist height) and further away from you. The one in SFNE are right next to your ears and also positioned towards your ears... [xx(]

Well, in my experience, when they make major changes like this to an existing attraction, it soon becomes unpopular, and you can expect it to close in a few years. So yes. Six Flags killed another great coaster.

They won't care.

It's a relatively cheap investment (as opposed to a new coaster) however, they billed it as an entirely new ride while only adding some speakers, basic light effects, misters, and some cheap (probably plywood) cutout buildings and a new coat of paint. To my knowledge, 99% of the GP actually believed that they actually took out Superman and completely replaced it with Bizarro... it worked with Medusa.

From a business standpoint, this is a procedure that is absolutely ingenious; don't bother a thing with the candy itself, but just put it in a new wrapper and put in some different food coloring, and people think that it's an entirely different candy.
